I grew up in West Texas during the Oil Boom and received a Summa Cum Laude in Radiology at Odessa College in 1981-82. At the same time, I was also a College Cheerleader.
I started working with insurance in 1992 in Kansas City licensed in all 4 lines, and later became Multi-Line Sales producer in 2005. I was voted as a Five Star Insurance Sales Professional in Texas Monthly Magazine 2012 & 2014. Love the business and Love helping people manage the risks of everyday LIFE! I always strive to MAKE AN IMPACT! Whether it be making a difference in someone’s life by Selling a Life policy, guiding them through an Insurance Financial Review as an Insurance advisor, or MAKING IT HAPPEN for the goals of the agency! I love to see the numbers GROW due to my production as well as being a TEAM PLAYER!
I LOVE * LOVE * LOVE * my FAMILY – My Grandson is the LIGHT OF MY LIFE!! My daughter’s child Connor! He MAKES LIFE WORTH LIVING FOR SURE! He absolutely loves his MIMI! He moved to
Austin last year, so we SKYPE EVERYDAY – Missing him now!
When I’m not working, I like to see movies with my friends and cook with the family. I enjoy having all the kids at my house and it smelling like a home, cooking and laughing all day! Also… I have been known to be quite the comedian too. I’ve even done a couple of stand-up events and a party or two on the side. It actually just comes natural – Doesn’t take much talent to have fun as I do have the gift of gab and love the sound of laughter. I love to make people smile!
I love to volunteer at my church. I’ve done a lot of chamber events and fundraisers involving event planning. I am very passionate about helping where needed for any non-profit and/or Women’s Shelter. Love trying to make a difference behind the scenes as well as making the beaten, broken and abused feel safe and loved.
A native of Fort Worth, I was born and raised playing all kinds of sports which afforded me a scholarship to Northwestern State University in Louisiana. My passion and competitiveness for sports continued as I completed my degree in Education.
Educating our clients is just like educating our youth. I have found that taking the time to explain their policies and assist with any concerns not only enlightens them but provides a personal reward for me.
As a season ticket holder and avid Texas Ranger fan, I attend as many baseball games as I possibly can each season. Whether out on the lake or near the pool, relaxing outdoors with friends and family is the best way for me to re-energize.
I am still a full-time educator and Head Softball Coach for Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth. When I’m not in the office or teaching, in the fall I ref local high school volleyball games. So, staying busy can be considered an understatement.
